Hague crt orders Russia to pay $44 mln to Ukrnafta for Crimea losses
KIEV, Apr 16 (PRIME) -- The Hague arbitration court has charged Russia with U.S. $44.4 million as compensation to Ukrainian oil company Ukrnafta for the loss of property in Crimea, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The arbitration court decided on April 12, 2019 to charge the Russian Federation $44.4 million in favor of Ukrnafta as compensation for expropriation of property in the annexed Autonomous Republic of Crimea by the Russian Federation,” the company said.
The court also charged interest, penalty and litigation costs to Russia.
